Just brought reverb 2nd hand (only used once)and fitted ,and have noticed there is play in the seat post about 1-2mm left to right ,have double checked i have tightened seat up etc but still it moves ! any advise ? ps date stamp is june 2011

Do you mean when you twist it? If so, that's standard on all dropper posts that I know of

The 2012 reverb has all new internals to address such issues. You might have been better advised to sink your money into a new one, the 2012 can be had for £179 from some .de web sellers.

Rotational play has been evident on every GD I've ever tried. And 2012 reverbs for that matter.

Piss poor for what they cost IMO

My 2012 reverb was rock solid when new but now has an incy bit of rotational play after 3 months.
