Recently bought a watch, direct from the manufacturer (Nixon, I know, I'm sorry, but it was a Star Wars one....) it arrived, it was nothing like the pic (gloss finish not what appeared to be matte) and MASSIVE, so back it went, using the free UPS returns service.
They got the watch back on Wednesday (it's now Monday evening) and I haven't got the too much money I paid for it back yet, how long before I send a 'Disappointed of Harrogate' email?

Under CRA you have 30 days to reject the goods. I don't recall ever seeing a regulation specifying a timescale for a refund to be processed, but I'd hazard that a similar timescale sounds reasonable. I wouldn't be disgruntled, or even slightly gruntled, after three working days.
What's it say in their T&Cs?
Oh I'm not even mildly arsed, t&cs say they'll mail me once they've got it then mail me when they've done the refund. As yet they have done neither. Only asking really as this is the first time I've returned anything!

Would CRA give any protection in this case with it being a USA import sale? (Assuming that's the case..)
I reckon 7-14 days to get a refund can't see them taking the piss but wouldn't expect anything faster than that.

I believe it's the standard 30 days.
