To have a fun and productive year.
I'm going part time in the new year to look after the nipper more so I am planning a lot more riding while she is at school. Could do with dropping a stone or two and knocking the weekend tabs on the head all together.
Laugh (even) more - doable
See my lovely friends more and make some new ones - doable
Do as many races as I can afford to get to - doable
Ride the SDW both ways in one go - ambitious but will try
Pay off my credit card bill - yeah, right
Finish my bathroom - oh really? What, after six years? What's the rush? ๐
Due to three major injuries this year (knocked off my bike twice and a broken ankle)I havn't been able to fulfill this years resolutions so same again really.
More riding
Improve my bjj
And get out on a stw forum ride to put some faces to names ๐
Loose some weight again...same every year and same outcome ๐
Get away on some quality weekends on the bikes.
shoulder rotator cuff injury in Oct only ridden bike 5 times since then ๐ so just get back on the bike and get my fitness back
I'm quitting banking for the new year and taking up a more socially acceptable occupation (dolehound). Should be quite an easy one to stick to, I don't think they'll let me back in the office.
Got the fort william endurance DH race to look forward to later in the year so I'm aiming to build up the stamina and upper body strength before then, else my arms will snap off. Might not be a bad idea to learn how to ride a bike either.
start properly saving to go travelling again. means cutting back on bike bits and other luxuries but ideally i want to be in Aus/NZ/S.E.Asia (again) by 2012.
