Morning All

I have a Gore Oxford Comuter jacket which is need of a wash. The instructions say that it can be done with normal powder/liquid detergent at 40 degrees but I wanted to check with the collective first.

Will the dwr be ok after this or would I be better off from the get go using Nikwax to clean and reproof?

Cheers All

'Normal' usually means pure soap in this case. That plus a tumble dryer might be enough to re-activate the see depending on how much use the jacket's seen

Otherwise pure soap then a reproofer like nik wax is the best way
