I've got a used macbook
when i start up i keep getting a popup from a brother printer program
any idea howe to remove it?
so far i have just managed to find a load of .gz files that are called brother
I'm mac illiterate by the way 🙂
You should just be able to go into your applications folder and delete it.
Fire up the System Preferences, choose printers and scanners. Highlight the brother printer in the left hand column and click the minus underneath the box. Confirm that you wish to delete the printer and nag screens should go.
I wouldn't delete the drivers in the Library as they could be useful if you turn up somewhere and need to print.
If it is some sort of control centre then you may need to download the installer from Brother to access a full un-install programme. (The control centre is normally Java driven).
