how easy to remove? Am i right in thinking the insulation will also keep the van warm?
You must have the refrigeration gas removed of by a profesional check out the yellow pages for transport refrigeration engineers. All the rest as long as it has a roof top condensor is pretty easy. If it has an under bonnet condensor that may be better to leave in situ and just remove everything else. The compressor if it runs on its own belt can be removed if it uses the same belt as the alternator and steering pump it may be easier to leave it it will just work as a free running pulley then with no power to energize the clutch. Where are you and what van is it I could give you some more advice if needed. Careful if it has been used for carrying fish!! The insulation will be a bit on the thick side just for normal van insulation.
I haven't bought the van - just saw a nice one with refigeration in it. cheers anyhow
