WTF!
The wifw has recntly decided that she wants to "monitor her intake" so has started weighing out her food portions. I was so tempted to use the line I heard on here a while pack when discussing it; "make up your own mind, you're a big girl now" but thought better of it.
Anyway, you know how these sort of things are never done solo, well I've just weighed out the recommended 50g of museli and 100 ml of skimmed milk. I'm now struggling to see exactly where this stuff landing in the bottom of my usual breakfast bowl.
Who comes up with these recommendations? Posh Spice?
Is it really possible to survive on so little food?
No, they are wrong, and I know of people who work in "nutrition" who are trying to get them changed. They are there so that when you look at the box you think they are a very low calorie food.
You should be eating a bigger breakfast than the recommended amount on the boxes.
If she wants to weigh everythin 🙄 then get her to count calories instead. The smallest meal of the day should probably be in the evening.
I've just looked at my cereal and the recommended a serving is 50g. I think I manage closer to 200g on a typical day and will add in a banana and a piece of toast if I'm expecting to do a lot of excercise.
Remember we are athletes at the peak of physical condition/perfection so we can eat more/what we like without loosing our svelt six packed phsysique.
