We will be in touch
For my upcoming travels. I want it to take great pictures of varying things of various scales, from millipedes to mountains, in varying conditions, indoors, outdoors, fast moving, still life, but I pretty much just want to zoom in/out and press the button.
Which camera moon would be the best to put on my wish stick?
Some Panasonic compact with a decent OPTICAL zoom - the choice makes my eyes blur but you won't go wrong with any of them with around a x3 optical zoom.
Panasonic TZ 7, 8 or 10 get very good reviews and the results I have seen are excellent. Also do video.
Another vote for he Lumix range. Metal bodies, big optical zoom of x10, excellent optics.
Eh? STW in unambiguous recomendation shocker?
Cheers though, I think I'm going TZ8
You won't go wrong with that - well done on listening to the masses.
🙂
Got an older TZ5 and even that's brilliant!
(I actually have a lovely Canon but that is only because I am very familiar with the UI from using Canons for the last 20 or so years). If I had never used a camera before I would find it difficult to choose between a Canon or a Panasonic but the Panasonic would probably win.
