MegaSack DRAW - 6pm Christmas Eve - LIVE on our YouTube Channel
Well, I'm sitting here, bored
Don't want to drink alcohol, and fed up of Cola, Water, want to try something different with little fuss 😀
Any ideas?
Milk.
ginger beer
Um Bongo. Um Bongo. They drink it in the Congo
I'd recommend a nice Elderflower presse 🙂
coffee
bitter shandy.... I know not strictly alcohol free but as good as
Can't remember which brand it is but there's a lovely sparkling white grape juice with elderflower.
sunny delight
lime and soda water or cranberry and soda water are my tipples of choice most of the year at the pub
Pineapple Milkshake
I know you said not cola but this is so much more, CHERRY COLA! mmmm might get a can for my lunch... darn you!
irn bru

Apfel Schöller - 50% apple juice/50% sparkling water, over ice.
Nestle Milk Shake.
Don't like water and can't drink alcohol while working, so I buy these "natural" (ahem) fruit syrups, and REALLY dilute them. Just enough to give the water a bit of taste. Cheap and good. Perfect.
Second Nesquick. Guilty pleasure.
Or you could try soda, lime cordial, lemonade, bitters...bit more of an interesting drink for the designated driver though.
I'll try the Apfel Schöller first... the rest will leave me feeling soooo guilty, that I might as well have some chocolate to go with it 😀
+1 for Ginger Beer, get a good one mind: fentimans, bundaberg; belvoir; fever tree.
I'll try the Apfel Schöller first...
Glad to be of service Travis.
I always try to have a carton of applejuice and some sparkling water in the fridge and my only problem is when the kids have the same idea... and they get home first 😥
Tea?
oooft bundaburg - i love it but i can feel my teeth crumbling at all that sugar ! i have to limit my self on that stuff !
Robinson's Pink Grapefruit squash
Ginger beer is a saviour for non drinkers in public situations!
Blackcurrant and coke. (Together)
Purdeys - it's a fruity elixir to me, a really good pick-me-up from anything but the worst hangovers where nothing can work.
Happily, it tastes grrrreat, as Tony would say.

root beer?
Twinnings Swiss Hot Chocolate Drink! Yum
cream soda
Dandilion and burdoch Mmmmmmm
Low alcohol laudunum.
Lemon and lime bitters is a good one.
Lemonade, splash of lime juice and a dash angostura bitters.
[Note for pedants: not strictly non-alcoholic what with the bitters being 40% proof]
Virgin mary
What's wrong with a simple lemonade and lime, or orange juice and lemonade?
Quite a few non-drinkers on here it'd seem!
Dandilion and burdoch
my mum calls that dandilions and bird muck - she still drinks though 😉
Tonic water and grapefruit. It replaces alcohol for perfectly as I associate something that bitter as being alcohol.
Iced tea?
I drink that or milk-shake in the evening....
At my desk I drink Bovril or cup-a-soup equivalent.
Ginger beer. Or tonic water with lots of ice and lemon or lime - even nicer with gin in!
Marge - MemberIced tea?
I drink that or milk-shake in the evening....At my desk I drink Bovril or cup-a-soup equivalent.
You is WRONG IN THE HEAD!

Ginger beer and lime.
Bitter lemon and fresh orange juice
Fosters fnarr fnarr
Chai.
I'm sipping an infusion of black and green teas, with cardamon, ginger, cinnamon and cloves.
how has no one suggested orange squash?!
t'is the king of drinks, and i can get it for 28p at my local.
I am mostly drinking; squash (tesco own brand orange and barley or summer fruits and barley), ginger beer, elderflower fizzy stuff (the Bottle Green ones are nice, if dearish), grapefruit & cranberry juices (half and half), orange juice and tonic (half and half) and becks non alcoholic beer, which is actually not that bad.
ETA I am really missing a nice G&T though 🙁
Hot Chocolate
going to try GInger beer later, but the sugar content frightens me...
I'm trying kick in my sugar addiction
Fentimans
Anything from the Fentiman's range of drinks, I particulalry like their Orange Jigger and Dandelion and Burdoch. I am also lucky that my local stocks most of the range, not being a big drinker its nice to have a choice.
Fresh orange juice and cranberries juice
Tropicana sanguinello
One dose of orange juice, Two doses of grapefruit juice, half dose of brown natural sugar, a pinch of cinnamon, and a few drop of green jalapeno tabasco
Et voila 😉
At the moment the drink of choice is grapefruit topped up with soda.
Like the elderflower cordials and ribena.
water.
No one mentioned smoothies?
Huge variety from either yoghourt based, like say, banana and cinnamon with natural yog, or fruit based ones, and really, theres so many varieties, and you can "water" the juice to fruit to make the blend thick, thin, fruity, sweet, sharp or whatever.
Or I have started to get the "pricier" squashes in, like Belvoir Farms blackburry and apple, or winter warming mixed berry which is nice with hot water.
Or even dont forget a good old hot chocolate. Someone mentioned coffee, and yes, once you get into making with milk, adding flavours to it (a sacrilige for some) and getting away from just "coffee", and perhaps experimenting with diffeent blends/beans, theres a whole avenue to go down.
+1 for cream soda. i know this might sound weird but it does taste a bit like custard 😆
