I suppose it depends whether you want something cheap to sling on at a campsite, or something you'll be keeping on all day, that perhaps looks a bit more fashionable.

I cut my Steel toe cap wellies down to crocs. pretty handy to slip on for  wander the shed, especially if you then drop things on your foot.

Thanks for the ideas - will have a look at the cut down wellies but wonder how comfy they are

Dealer boots - basically steel toe capped chelsea boots. I wear mine all the time but it's really useful for camping (tent or van) because they slip on and off really easily. Cheap too

I have some old goretex Inov8 trainers, lacesremoved and replaced with elastic quick laces so they are slip on. The goretex is old so useless in persistent  rain, but perfect for ‘pottering’, camping etc. 

Rigger boots.

Mine live by the back door for trips to the bin, gardening,lunchtime walks, and come every in the car with us when we go camping. A decent pair will last you decades.
