Sorry, but dull and all but there's so many of the things on Amazon it's information overload. You do seem to get a much better spec from the lesser known brands. Want it for photos, net browsing inc Youtube, Vimeo etc and Garmin Connect. I'd like;

Decent amount of storage
Decent amount of RAM
Decent resolution screen
Good build quality and customer service would be nice
Decent screen size would be a bonus too

Suggestions please!

There was also this recently.

Can you still double up Clubcard vouchers against the Hudl?

Asus memo pad 7 and hudl2 are very similar specs. if you want long battery life and happy with a 7" screen then Asus. If you want bigger screen and happy with shorter battery life then hudl2.

Thanks Cougar, had seen that thread but forgotten about it. Seems I missed the cashback by a day, bah. Still the same price as the Hudl though, looks better due to lighter weight if nothing else.

If Windows 8 is ok, the linx 8 is £100 from Staples, and if you have an old tablet, there's £30 exchange.

If you go directly to the PC world site the lenovo is now £99 anyway making it the same price as the cashback offer? Or have I misunderstood it?

hudl 2 then install 'Google launcher'.

Google launcher replaces the default Tesco GUI which has several apps suggesting products you might be interested in.

Gives it a pure android interface. No need to root this tablet to get rid of the awful Tesco branded apps.

Hudl2 is excellent but I would like to try the S8. My hudl2 has had problems with the time that don't seem to begetting resolved by Tesco and i worry about future updates.
