MegaSack DRAW - This year's winner is user - rgwb
We will be in touch
Criteria:
Smaller, lighter and pocket/backpackable when riding. Doesn't need to be tough.
Had a Blackberry 9700 for 2yrs- heavy/too big IMO and I don't need touch screen.
Fairly intuitive etc good.
iPhone does everything I need.
Don't buy a phone for riding.
Buy the phone you want - it would be a cheap Android one for me - and get a case/cover for your riding needs.
Make sure its fully suspended and doesn't have a hard tail. 😀
and based upon your previous posts, it only needs a 2 hour battery life 😉
The new Panasonic Eluga is a waterproof android phone. Only prob for me is that the internal 8GB memory is not enough without expandable memory. It doesn't accept microsd.
whilst not the best android phone in the world, i use a htc wildfire, i got a cracking deal on my monthly charges, does everything the more expensive models do but is just a bit slower and clunky. camera a bit naff though.
if you want to track mtb rides i'd highly recommend a garmin forerunner gps watch or if you want to spend more then one of the garmin edges
