I've just bought a Sony A5000 and I'm looking for an outdoor friendly bag or case. I want something to protect the camera when I have it inside a bigger bag for biking or walking. I don't have a spare lens yet but I suppose I'll need somewhere to store that when I do get one? Any particular options I should be looking at so I don't have to take a blind punt on something on Amazon?
Mine goes in a Tamrac holster type bag on my hip (rotated round to my arse when cycling). I've crashed a few time carrying compact system cameras and they don't deem to mind. I don't carry extra lenses on the bike.
For just the camera with a lens attached, the Lowepro toploader cases are pretty good. Look at the Lowepro Rezo TLZ 10 or Rezo TLZ 20, depends on how long your lens is.
