[Closed] recommend me a cheapish camera for making films

I was using my Canon g9 but first I scratched the lens then it now has given up the ghost. It did 1054 HSBC films and was nice but wanted something that was durable but not that big or expensive. I like the idea of a helmet cam but helmet cam footage on its own is a bit boring. I would not mind getting a dedicated movie camera but heard that some of the slr's are better. So recommend me cheap, or good. I will post my last video. Just a cheesy around dad moment of my boy. Back pedal brakes are not so hot for the trails!
