For a Canon S95, something that I can strap to the front of my camelback. Preferably smallish and waterproof.
I use a little Lowe Pro neoprene case, it's the dogs
Lowe Pro do one - called the Apex or something that is pretty good.
Comes in various sizes, soft lining, but fairly tough exterior, small pocket for memory cards & it has a stash away waterproof cover.
I use it on my rucsack without tincident, but have added a little karibiner (spelling?) as a back up restraint.
Ace, looks perfect - like the karabiner idea, I have a few little ones kicking around.
Cheers
I think the S95 is the same size as my Nikon p300. If I remember when I get home, i'll post up what size I went for. It is a snug fit, but not too snug to be a pain & it would have been a bit loose in the next size up.
Add CCS to your list to check out, they do some very good, well padded cases.
Cheers Stumpy, that'd be ace. Snug would be good, there won't be much else going in there.
Will have a look at CCS too.
+1 for the Apex - in whatever size you need. It has a double fixing on the belt/strap loop so it is pretty secure, and it's pretty weatherproof anyway, even without the funky waterproof cover. OTOH my family mock mine, due to the proliferation of features (particularly the waterproof cover).
I'm used to being mocked ๐
Er, Stumpy...what did you take the picture of the nikon with?
Crappy camera on my HTC Desire. Quickest way to get photos uploaded via Photobucket.
Why?
Looks bob on - ordered!
