A Cloud Storage solution. I'm currently using Know How Cloud but I'm reluctant to continue paying Currys £60 a year! I have a 2TB plan but currently using just under 50GB and most of that is historic as all our photos are now stored in iCloud so it won't grow that much - it's mainly archive photos and such like. TIA.
Shall watch with interest - just cancelled an iDrive subscriptiin, good VFM on a deal last year but slow and the interface was a bit clunky. Currently pondering a Google Drive subscription for 165gb of pics...
I assume you have a local back-up of all the files as well because if not I'd be spending the money on a local external hard drive. That is assuming the photos and other files are important to you. If they not then fill your boots on whatever solution is cheapest. What is wrong with sticking it all on iCloud. For pence a month you can increase your storage there?
I use iCloud, OneDrive (get 1TB as part of my 365 sub), a NAS drive at home as well as having the files on two separate hard drives inside the computer. I am slacking a little as I really should have them on an plain USB external hard drive as well.
50GB of mostly archive data?
Get two of these and leave one at a mate's house, swap 'em around when you visit. Lifetime offline cloud storage for £16.
Keep it all in one place for ease would be my suggestion (as a backup I mean) so I'd just pay a bit for an increased iCloud sub.
Best thing about photos is actually viewing them and I'd assume if you stuck them on iCloud they'd be integrated with your current set so you can tag & categorise them for easy viewing.
OneDrive as part of my Office 365 subs and Google Photo's for me.
