I inherited a home-made CD with a recent desk move which seems to be someone's personal 'best of' JJ Cale. I like it but it doesn't play very well in my car - home-made CDs rarely do for some reason.

So... what should I buy?

Okie's my favourite, but must admit I haven't heard anything new by him for a long time.

Hell, it's been a long time since I've even heard his name mentioned.

Okie and Troubador used to get played alot when I had them on vinyl. Both recommended.

I'd be better off buying a decent car and hoping the CD player's better.

Ta for the suggestions - might try Okie and/or Grasshopper.
