Well apart from the fact somehow cycling got specifically allowed, I just finished reading The Call of The Wild with my 9 year old, he loved it, this makes me very happy. In a world gone to shit whats giving you a smile?

Seeing my kids wanting to get out and exercise, use some gym kit we have to get themselves fit for when they can play rugby again.

For the minute, reduced traffic and cleaner air. I live in South Manchester and it's so nice to walk/run and not be imprisoned by a constant flow of cars and buses everywhere

Food, beer and the time to go through all the music on my computer that I never normally listen to. And this weekend I hope to complete Spotify.

Mucho family time
Morning cuddles instead of the rush commute
Eating like a king
Garden looking awesome
Mancave ditto
Summer house ditto
Decking ditto
Roads quiet enough for my wife to cycle to work
Broadening music library
Both bikes pristine

The best thing is being fortunate enough to have an amazing wife and daughter, have our health, live in a decent area with a good sized garden, good neighbours and in a job that allows me to wfh. Only downside is my wifes exposure the public, she's a nurse in Macular clinic, but the good thing is that our local hospitals have managed fairly well, and she's not been punted to a ward.

Yours, a thankful nobeer x

We have our health and two great kids.

Spending time with them, rather than just ferrying them about.

My employer has given me a laptop so I can work from home, when the laptop works.

All in all, there's a lot of people a lot worse off than us.

Having read many folks experiences of their lock-down environments, I'm thankful that I've amazing off road cycling from my door that most folk would love to have access to right now. I'm thankful that I've a decent employer and great colleagues, I'm grateful that I can hear the bird song.

Been lucky, given what's happening all around us

yup, a lot of the above, able to WFH, more time with the kiddies, currently not ill.

And it's raining, which means that I don't have to water the grass seed I've put down to patch up the lawn.

A few of the same here:

- easy access to offroad non-gnar
- quiet roads
- time to actually make and listen to Spotify playlists
- reading books
- 3 step commute to work
- making lists of things

If this continues for a few more weeks I am going to be silly fit - I may have to un-retire from racing

Cleaner air,
quietness,
more consideration to others (for the majority).
People out cycle more
Bike sales up,
More birdlife
More Wildlife in general,
A lot more appreciation for our environment and people becoming greener,
People actually cooking food from scratch.
Some people eating a little healthier,
People having time to stop and look around and appreciating little things.
Blue sky (no vapour trails)
Twinkling stars that you can actually see twinkle.
Kindness (our local community have been utterly amazing,
The realisation of the importance of key workers
I could go on and on.

London 0 - Hull 4. Not convinced about the result, but it's hard not to be cheerful with the Housemartins on 🙂

Except if you're one of the people who grinned themselves to death 🙁
