Lookiing at buying a rear light anyone know what the Blackburn Mars 3.0 Rear 7 LED or the Blackburn Mars 4.0 Rear LED which one is bright
Any views would be good
I don't know but I do know I've ridden behind people with the Mars lights and thought I was following a motorbike.

Just got a Mars 4.
Very bright, makes your eyes go all weird if you look directly at it.
Recommended one if you are looking for a new light. Blackburn Flea is also fantastic if you need a new front light.
I've got a Mars 3.0 - agree with Nimrod, they're v bright and have had no problems with mine at all. Only minor gripe is that you need a coin to take off the battery panel, screwdriver too narrow and can burr the casing. I'd recommend one
I've got a Mars 4 and it is indeed very bright, it also has amber side LEDs. The clamps are a bit poor though.
cheers for all the info i think I'm going to go for both as my commute home is through country lanes you can 't have to many lights.
