Contemplating getting a 7" Android tablet for web, email etc and being able to read magazines on it would be nice. I know I can download to it no problem, but is the screen big enough to read it comfortably or am I going to be constantly scrolling about each page?

Cheers!

I read singletrack on a 7" tablet and it works great. Use their app. Very neat having a range of photos and videos embedded in there. I have no problems reading it. It's the perfect size for using as an e-book too. I found 10" too much.

I prefer 9-10", I am a little long sighted though.

Each to their own.

I used to watch TV programs and read text books on my iPad mini with no issues.

We redesign each issue to work specifically on tablets via our App. The standard/cheaper way is to just display the print design on tablets - but as you know, tablets are smaller than A4 so you end up having to pinch and zoom to read them. As far as we are concerned, pinch and zoom is an accessibility feature. If you end up forcing readers to use it to access your content then you have failed to design the mag properly.
