Possibly the most boring thread title ever and I can't believe I haven't come up against this problem since starting to run Win7. I want to be able to fettle with the sequence of a series of images. It used to be easy in XP to just drag and drop then preview in photo gallery.
What's your workaround for this?

Renaming them is too slow. I'd like it to be as quick as it was - like moving prints laid out on a table. That way I can try many permutations, making quick judgements.
