We will be in touch
Jeeze! Every time the sun comes out the bstds next door who haven't worked for the 4.5 years since they've been here are having a party. Their 4 kids are still outside playing football in the garden and I have an early shift at work tomorrow! I complained twice before and they told me to **** off so it's a bit pointless. How come they can afford beer & cannabis while the rest of us are trying our best to keep the roof over the head & food on the table? GRRRRR!!!!!
Trolling ain't what it used to be.
low grade.
My kids are in the garden playing football. It's warm, they're on holiday...and it's my garden and only ten o clock.
*off to skin up*
even the forks are old fashioned...
Have a read of this, if you don't learn something about the underclasses I'm sure it'll help you sleep. 😈
[miserable old cow mode] To be honest I find towards the end of Summer I'm quite relieved that folk will soon be back indoors.
Meanwhile I get woken up every night by next door's screaming baby and then again between 6 and 7 am. Not forgetting the doors that must be slammed. Neighbours - don't you just love 'em. 🙄
You have my sympathy.
Thanks Cinnamon, It just pisses me off that so many people are on a free ride in this country while the rest of us work ourselves silly. I know I have quite a nice home & bikes etc but I WORKED for it. I don't earn much but I realise that's what I have to do. What the hell is wrong with people who think they have the right to keep breeding & scrounging? Do benefits really cover booze, fags & dope? Bloody hell, I'm going to bed.
All have a good riding Sunday if you haven't got to work? I'm gonna hit the trail on Tuesday if I can. Nite!
This one's great.
Can we keep him?
I thought it was pretty good. If you've got problems, and no one else can help. Just call STW. Seriously .
Him?
Judy?
😯
Do benefits really cover booze, fags & dope?
Easily covers it, with plenty left over for a massive telly and a new motor every 3 years.
Why don't you give it a go ? You wouldn't have to worry about your early shift tomorrow......problem solved.
be fair STW if my neighbours were being rowdy and I needed to get up for shift i would be cross. Having asked nicely and been sworn at i might wsh ti rant about them
Noisy neighbours are bloody annoying. Noisy neighbours on benefits are just taking it to another level altogether. Remember folks, there's at least one on every street.
Actually, hang on, I hear the latest thing on The Daily STW is to report 'em.
that is very sensible of you Junkyard you Ti bastard.
I know I have quite a nice home
Not that nice if you have doley scum next door....
I sympathise as I have had selfish and disrespectful neighbours like this in the past.
Do benefits really cover booze, fags & dope?
Of course, how can they continue to claim incapacity benefit for drug and alcohol addiction if they can't afford booze and weed 🙄 😉
I bet they are obese too ! It really boils my piss.
Get up really early, open some windows to enjoy the fresh dawn air wafting through the house (shame about the doors slamming) while you enjoy some waking-up music. Then give your car an Italian tune-up before heading off to work.
This is not about noise, it's about resentment that someone enjoys their life more than Judy is currently doing. Shame.
not sure it is -- seems to be the noise/swearing that has made the OP complain about this. They think they are funding this lifestyle [we all are ] whilst they need to sleep to go to work on a bank holiday weekend on a Sunday..again I think they have a point [re noise] and I think most of would be annoyed with this...after all his/our taxes keep them pissed and stoned in a house and in food. They could be thankful, appreciative and considerate to those that fund this or they could not care and tell them to f off when they make a reasonable request about noise. many people are aware of their own rights but not appreciative of other peoples rights or their responsibility towards them ...and not just those on benefits. My neighbours used to have a bar B q every nice day - as a vegan i did not dig this but let it go. i did complain that they would light it when washing was out and not warn us and all our clothes would then smell of meat and smoke and need to be rewashed. They agreed to warn us and the washing would be taken in and they could still have a bar b q. Life is simple if we mutually cooperate and respect each others rights. When we don't it is very annoying as any one who has had bad neighbours can testify to. When you fund them I assume this makes the resentment worse

😀
I got a letter from the local council about noise. it was cos a neighbour had complained about my music being 'too loud'.
Miserable old cah, the sort that complain about everything. I seen her in the street one time, looking up at my flat, moaning as usual. I just turned it up louder and shouted 'sorry love, can't hear you!' 🙂
And the offending piece, dear reader?
Why, it was a bit of the old Ludwig Van; 'Ode to Joy' from the Glorious Ninth.
how very civic of you and everyone knows the appropriate response to a noise complaint is to be noisier I hope you let of a couple of salvoes of f you as well or at least used hand gestures if she could not hear you above the noise...anything else would have been unreasonable obviously. Everyone wants to listen to the same music as you at exactly the same time as you lucky that isn't it.
PS good choice of music
it was a bit of the old Ludwig
FFS, the East End has been gentrified so much, that the benefit scroungers there are now blasting out poncey classical music........someone should put a stop to this nonsense 😐
Anyone who lives near me has had a right result. They're getting a cultural treat. 😀
In fact, one day last summer, some of my neighbours asked if I could turn it up/put the speakers outside so's they could hear the Santana I was playing better.
You're turning into a proper right-wing curtain twitcher, Junky...
Ernie; Dies Irae!!! 😀
Thunderous. Nowt better to wake up the neighbourhood with.
My neighbours used to have a bar B q every nice day - as a vegan i did not dig this but let it go.
Junkyard, You're my hero!
Ear Kev; member the infamous Burger Off, and the neighbours complaining at 6pm?? 😯
Even though we'd informed them beforehaynd, and told them it weren't going on til late. Even invited them too. 🙄
Some people are just miserable bastards, too quick to complain about everything and more concerned about their benefit-claiming neighbours pushing caravans than just getting on and enjoying their own lives...
I'm scared now.
Get some proper speakers, put Skitliv on repeat, crank it up to 11 and go to work. Repeat for a week.
You folks who think it's being a killjoy and turning up to 11, you completely misunderstand. People are entitled to live at home in peace. Frequent, excessive neighbour noise and disrespect made my girlfriend mentally ill. Our polite requests, then complaints, led to us being targeted - mainly by the parents directing their children to annoy us, knowing that we could do nothing about it.
We had to move which was incredibly stressful under the circumstances. It probably took my GF five years of living in a more peaceful location to recover, and even now the sound of a football hitting fence gives her panic attacks.
You shouldn't have to be forced to move house by nasty neighbours.
I don't get this - I used to work nights and I'd make sure that I can get to sleep, ear plugs and blackout blinds work wonders. I used to have a fan so the room wouldn't get too hot.
you come over as a sad old fella, kids playing football in summer - nowt better in my mind.
better than setting fire to your bin or sat inside on a games console.
Why would anyone set fire to their own bin? Little bit of thought and respect for others goes a long way. Sorry if that sounds sensible.

Well thats just sweet for you, unfortunately not all of us are so fricking awesome. My neighbours at the moment are brilliant but my mate who lives down the road has just had his downstairs neighbours teenage son move back home and its party central till 2 in the morning every night, i really feel for them as they have tried to be be polite, make well worded complaints but so far to no avail.
Buti guess he should just bang earplugs in every night and just live with it.....i think not!
Kin 'ell, easy tiger.
There is a difference between playing footie in the garden and having a massive party underneath you 'til 2am - but if you want to wade in and make a tool of yourself go ahead, I'm happy to sit here and laugh at you.
still, why would you set fire to your own bin?

Junkyard, You're my hero!
shall i list a signed photo on classifieds for you ? it is much dearer if i have no clothes on 😯
Saccades your lack of sympathy is to someone who had so much stress from her shitty neighbours that they experienced mental health issues and even when she moved something innocent like a ball hitting a fence made them tense up and panic. The poster did not say it was wrong to play football it was as a demonstration as to how much a shitty neighbour can affect you.
Frequent, excessive neighbour noise and disrespect made my girlfriend mentally ill.
Poor form 🙄
Well, home at last. 😆 Yes I really do have shitty neighbours with apparently no physical disability. We live near Gatwick Airport where there are many jobs but unfortunately some of them are low paid but I am sure that with 4 kids there are quite a few tax credits to top it up. This guy "jumps" his neighbours 6ft fence so probably quite fit. His kids don't just play football even though we are 5 mins walk from a playground with football pitch. They kick the fence down on a regular basis. The parents swear all day and call each other and the kids effin c's (yeah really!) The cheeky cow even knocked here at Xmas and asked if I had a pair of black shoes she could borrow! ❗
Yes I probably do have a resentment and by the way, I don't have a car. Use a bike, walk & public transport. You don't need a car in this locality.
I am also 61 and a very fit & happy MTB'er who has worked hard for many years, brought up my children without calling them F & C and I am now working to supplement my pension because this government prefers to give the money to losers. I also have a small NHS pension which is taxed so maybe it hasn't helped me to help myself. Well at least I can rest knowing that I don't owe anyone else a thing.
Please also note I am not a miserable, nosey old cow. I do not mind at all if someone claims benefits if they are too ill to work or genuinely unemployed (shit happens). 🙁 I work & play with some fantastic young people, I did the 60's thing but when it was time to put down the booze (didn't do drugs) and take on the responsibility of children, I was more than happy to do my part.
RANT RANT RANT! .............
All in all, I think I'd rather be you than your neighbours 🙂
not so sure they seem to have all the gear and yet you have the morals i hate dilemmas like this
Well you've got a number of options. You can try and remain happy in your bubble and let as much as you can just bounce off. You can get upset about it but remain frustrated. Or you can aim a stream of piss over the fence closely followed by an old set of forks. Could this be the next poll on the front page please?
Like some others on here, I've endured anti-social neighbours and, believe me, it's not funny when they've been given a 4 bedroom detached house with en-suite and double garage. Paid by for the local Council. Oh, and opposite was an identical house, also paid for by said Council.
Makes me laugh this so-called 'zero tolerance' - really, what does it actually mean? People behaving badly continue to behave badly - it wouldn't occur to them to look at the behaviour of others and compare.
judy-rockshox - continue to hold your head high and maintain your self-respect. It must be so frustrating for you. 🙁

You'd hate it here then. Families with ten kids, given massive mansions to live in, all at the taxpayers' expense.
Worse still, they're immigrants.... 😉
The cheeky cow even knocked here at Xmas and asked if I had a pair of black shoes she could borrow!
Why is that "cheeky"........has she got really big feet or something ?
