Hi,

After a 30w PIR floodlight but with an override so that it can be on continuously too.

My Understanding is they're quite standard on modern pir floodlights but very few descriptions mention them.

Anyone in the know know?

Ta,
Naff

Varies. My Steinel LED PIR floodlight doesn't have an override, which is a pain.

All the ones I've bought from Screwfix don't have an override.

No override on my new one. It does turn on when you turn the switch on but only as long as it would stay on if the PIR had detected something - ie not continuously.

What soob said. Mine is only a cheap B&Q house light but on-off-on in quick succession keeps it on.
