if you do it right
letting go all night
shadows on you break
out into the light
*repeat*
first listen last night
was better than expected after reading this thread
some odd moments, but most Daft Punk albums have that
I reckon it's a slow burner
and Omar Hakim on drums is worth listening to over and over
two listens and I love it already, bar two or three tracks that I've just skipped past (Touch is hard to listen to) but will go back to in case they're growers.
it might be a nostalgic indulgence but it makes me want to just kick back, close my eyes and think of simpler times/ nothing.
reminds me of the 00s, chilling with a stubbie in a chalet in the French Alps after a day of boarding, listening to Air.
Fragments of Time sounds very much like Phoenix, another current fave.
So a few weeks on and no doubt everyone is totally sick of get lucky being played continually.
But has anyone who was initially sceptical changed their mind or or lovers gone off it?
Nope, only listened to it once. Won't be rushing to listen to it again
I'm sure it's getting better and better for those who can't find anything else to listen to!
It's very good.
I listen to other things too.
If you don't like it, that's ok, I won't try and make you feel bad about it.
It's not as good as JLS's first album.
It's good but not a patch on Discoveries. Pharrell has milked the machine.
It has grown on me, really like it, will be reburning a new CD for the car w/out Get Lucky, I actually dislike the lyriks. Can't help find them a bit nasty.
Love Touch, Gorgio & Fragments of Time.

Goes without saying
It's definitely a grower....
