Someone I know has an interview with them next week. I can't say what or where because knowing how small the bike industry is, some smart alec on here will figure out who and what 🙂
I'm well out of touch with the modern world, my memory of Raleigh is mainly sturdy but dull everyday bikes, and a slowly dying racing/custom division. It doesn't immediately strike me as appealing.

Good job it's not you applying then...
Raleigh are more or a distributor now, rather than a bike builder.
If he wants to work in the bike trade it can be a good route in. I know a few people who've got a foot in the door with someone like Raleigh and then been picked up by other companies.
I suggest he does a bit more research on what Raleigh do nowadays before the interview!
He's in the industry already, Raleigh are trying to poach him 🙂
Anyone can read the website and see what they sell. I was just asking in case anyone here works for Raleigh or knows someone who does, for some inside info on what they're like as an employer.
