Was out riding today and rode around the perimeter of RAF Fairford. Anyone know what flies from there these days or what its used for?

It's also the venue for the International Air Tattoo, one of the highlights of the military aviation calendar.

When Google Earth first started you could see a U2 spy plane on a taxiway. A mate of mine's mum lives near there - don't think he's a morris dancer (could be wrong tho).

Just had look on Google Earth. On the latest version you can look at the historical pictures for certain parts of the globe. That U2 was at Fairford on June 30 2003.
