Morning...

We have an iMac, and I can download something like mediaserver to be able to play itunes through the PS3 (which is connected to bigger speakers)

I want to be able to use the remote app on the iphone to control the music - will this still be possible if it is being streamed through the ps3...or would I have to use the ps3 as the interface?

I could always get an airport express, but would rather save the 80 quid!

Cheers

I have a ps3 with a media server, I think you would have to use the ps3 to control the music. Ps3 have a Bluetooth remote control that works anywhere in the house tho as it's Bluetooth.

Itunes and Airport express works well for me 🙂
Easier than faffing with media server / streaming software etc.

Only £50 rather than £80 if you get a reconditioned one from apple.....
