I've had a few injuries with my back and as a result my back clicks often (few times a day), I can feel the damaged area re-adjust itself back into position. It's pretty strong after lots of physio/core exercises and keeping good posture etc but the clicking hasn't reduced even after an extend period of time since injury. I've expressed concern to my GP/physio in the past but I'm told not to worry.
Anyone else have this party trick?
Me too. Had the clicking for years. I have upper back problems caused by going over a car door and my back makes an audible crack a few times a day. Its not painful so I haven't done anything about it.
I have a similar problem with my neck which tends to lock in position occasionally, usually when I'm tired, and then releases with an audible 'Crack'. Like solamanda my GP reckons there is nothing to worry about but I'm over 50 and worry that one day it will lock in place or it will become arthritic.
Surprising thing is I've done a load of damage to my lower back, falling off and over things and using poor lifting techniques, but can't remember injuring my neck at any time.
would happily swap a clicky back that functions for my useless stack of spasming mush, it'll be raining again by the time I next get to ride
