how much to change the oil filter housing on a 57plate CDTi Vectra? I've got a small leak which I want to nip in the bud before the Amercians try and invade to liberate the rest.

Now I'm all for helping people in need of mechanical help, but surely this is just laziness of the highest order? 🙂 You want someone else to put the details into one of the dozens of online shops out there and find out a price for you? Then guess at a labour time?
I'd imagine a filter housing change is about an hours work (never seen that car, but from the ones I've worked on). No idea on parts price.

Not much. Had mine done recently and it didn't make me stare open mouthed at the bill... but re-plumbing the turbo did.
