I'm getting LE/Mbox with the DV toolkit. Can I export the timeline straight to mpeg, mov or wmv?
I know it'll import them but there's no mention of export 🙁

Yes you can bounce individual tracks, selected tracks, the whole lot, selections within tracks.
I think there are MP3 options and stuff too. QT pro will let you do loads of conversions to other stuff.
