I bought my 4ft punchbag from Muscle Finesse. Went to order online and turned out they were just down the road from me. Failing that Argos maybe?

Just make sure you get one with a thing at the bottom to strap the bag down - like this:

otherwise when you kick it it will swing too far away.

Shame I might have been able to sort you something out cheap-ish if you had been over Leeds way.

I can recommend a Wavemaster, readily available, stable and pretty portable if you fill the base with water, I have one like this http://www.combatgear.co.uk/product.php?productid=81 which is good for training much better than the hangup type imho as with that design you need a really strong mounting point and they swing too much unless they have a tie point at the bottom - I have an as new large one with bracket but its in Derbyshire at the moment 🙁
