For years I've been going to a pub that has a human skull behind the bar and until today I never thought of it as being a bit odd.
Does anybody else frequent a boozer that has dead body parts (heads, hands, pickled todgers) on display?

Pickled todgers? 😯
What kind of world do you live in?
(Oh sorry; is this a 'Northern' thing, and therefore quite common above the Watford Gap?)
No, but there was a human arm found in the hedge just down from the pub last year. Not sure that really counts though.
so the pub is safer than the hedge - as there's no 'arm in it
pffff
The pub near my folks has a stuffed fox in a glass cabinet, but the glass in the cabinet is frosted so it looks the fox is lurking in a weird box full of fog
the drovers at Loch Lomond has a stuffed bear as you walk in the door like a big furry bouncer
the Traveller's Head
the Traveller's Arms
the Rest of the Traveller
My local only has random body parts lying around as it approaches closing time....
My local has several heads behind the bar, none severed, but some severe
It's called the Queen's Head but now you mention it, I've never actually seen it. Nor the King's Arms come to that.
[EDIT] Just thought, Queen's Head is also known as The Nob 😯 Or maybe The Knob, never seen it written down...
A pub near where i used to live had an old gibbet in the car park 😕
have frequented quite a few old goth/alternative pubs with various body parts in them. A mate had an old collection of victorian medical abnormalities in jars as well in his house, which was nice 😯
I only have a couple of skulls and some bat/rat/cat skeletons
The Pen Y Gwrd, near Snowdon, has a shrunken head in glass cabinet. Obviously the skull was removed to make it. Some sort of drying process I imagine.
My local, The Hunter's Lodge, has a femur. It came from the cave in the yard. Most curious.
The Drovers Inn at Inveranan is stuffed with dead stuff, none of it human though.
that one on the corner of china town in Newcastle has a load of wobbly head up around the bar...i forget the name
The Highwayman near Okehampton used to have a great selection of stuffed animals in exciting 'rad wildlife' poses. 🙂
