BRITISH PIE WEEK

WOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! ๐Ÿ˜€

I've been in touch with the police to see if this means we can execute anyone who sells a casserole with a pastry lid as a pie, but I've not had a reply yet, so we best hang fire on that one

But still.....

Oh the Ironing!

Posts this...

Follows it up with a picture of Aunt Aggie's finest cow-pie.

A traditional Scottish ashet steak pie. Pastry lid only. FAIL ๐Ÿ˜€

Does this mean I've got to go Harry's Pantry and get pie, peas and gravy now?

That's spooky. I almost never eat pies, in fact I was shopping for Spag Carbonara (rode 80 miles yesterday) and a pie just leapt off the shelf at me for my tea.

[edit]That imposter ^ is not a pie! It is stew with a hat.[/edit]

I thought this was going to be about Princess Charlotte's first skiing holiday.

I had a "pie" just now. Just grass and bits of white polystyrene or "spinach and feta" apparently. That it is pie week makes me feel doubly sad.

Anything pastry-based is acceptable, I reckon

I still haven't tried one of those PP. They look bloody brilliant! I had a meat and tatty pie for my lunch from Mrs Binners favourite bakery in Bolton. It was bloody lovely. I doubt that'll be the last of the pie action for this week ๐Ÿ˜€

Lets have some pie recipe suggestions folks? I reckon I'm going to cook a chicken, leek and ham pie. Though revisiting Dr P's full englishbreakfast pie might be an idea. My last effort.....

That full english pie reminds me of the full english lasagne I concocted a couple of years ago. I should really repeat it. If only I wasn't attached to a vegetarian.

MMMMMMMMMMM .......Holland and Barrett wheat and vegetable protein filling in low fat pastry....

And all this healthiness means that you get to stand around, in the freezing cold, up at the mast tonight, waiting for fat pie-laden bloaters like me to catch up. Its a win/win ๐Ÿ˜€

She's away 'til Thursday ! 8)

Chicken pie last night
Shepherd's tonight (does that count?)
Might have to properly turn on the magic Tomorrow or Weds and have chippy (pie) tea
