Great story (we read the book in school)
But Battlestar Galactica TV movie is on bbc2

Same year as Threads and when I read 1984 as a 14 year old. USSR was still threatening to attack and the IRA were bombing city centres.
Thatcher was systematically destroying British industry and individualising society, Findus crispy pancakes were haute cuisine. Pfft, kids today.
Pop music was good though!
