nope, I'd guess it's people who like their comfort but won't be carrying the tent anywhere (although even I thought the addition of a wood-burner was a bit much). I have something a tad more practical for jaunts to the wilderness
I'm not having a dig at the tents themselves ffs 🙂
I like them and would far prefer to be in one of those than a pissy bit of nylon.

Someone had one set up in Glenbrittle on Skye this year for a couple of months (with a woodburner). I was a tad jealous when I saw inside, with their fire glowing and comfy beds as I retired to my 1m high tent which was smelly, wet and lit only by a dying LED light which was being blown all over the place!
