Channel 4 have selected a group of sheds for the Shed of the Year 2014, to be presented by George Clark in late June, early July.

I built the Pool Hoose using reclaimed materials and it is currently being used as overnight accommodation for users of the Warmshowers.org. A reciprocal free stay site for touring cyclists.

I've no idea how the voting is going but a last minute push from here can't hurt. Please feel free to share the link elsewhere.

Other sheds are votable for!

That website needs some serious design work, it's just so badly designed.....

A lady I know from work was a finalist last year, with her shed done up like a boat.

Good luck McMoonter.

I got through a couple of pages, then read this....
"We have 2162 Sheds entered for Shed of the year 2014"

I wonder how many the film crew visited...

I love that they have a whole Tardis section and some of the pub sheds are great

You've got my X, Mr Mcmoonter.
And all I've ended up with, after browsing your photos, is shed envy.

Voted, but I would like to pick up on two details:

1. It's not a shed (I know I've observed this previously)
2. this isn't a PSA, unless the 'P' is for personal?! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Apologies for the self serving nature of the PSA. I think the winner receives a selection of Cuprinol products which I'm happy to share.

I agree the website needs work.

I have a feeling the programme makers take a selection from the pool in each category based on web votes, then once the show is televised they do do a phone in vote. I think once viewers see each of the shed builders it will ' bring the sheds alive' as they are so idiosyncratic of their creators.

Voted,
the only other reasonable candidate in the Eco section I could see was the allotment shed which is pretty cool so good luck.
