Reviews seem to suggest the charging point snaps off a lot.

Yes I read about the charge thing, but if you know in advanced you can just take more care

I bought this from Cotswold about a week ago. Really loud for it size and pairs really easily. No problems with charger yet but shall be careful with it!

Sounds quite clear to me. Obviously not as good as my sonos but for fiver, it's good.
