I don't know if it's all ASDAs but the one at Westbrook has a *Special* offer on those big bottles of Leffe, Brun and Blonde.

Wait for it...

£2.52 a bottle OR 2 for a Fiver!!!

Hoegarden is £2.51 a bottle OR 2 for a Fiver!!!

I'll be stocking up tomorrow, if they've any left.

Sainsbury have been doing this for a while now. Quite a standard offer at many supermarkets.

Tesco is also 2 for £5 at the mo until 02/06. Also doing it on the 750ml bottles of Hoegaarden.

Special? They were about that price anyway! Actually just on my way to Asda now so I'll grab some and a few Duvel too.

Yum.

£2.52 a bottle is the offer price, its usually closer to £4 p/bottle

I can just pop down to the local Carrefour GB underneath my apartment and buy a case of pretty much anything I like for silly money, I think Beers about the only thing you can get cheaply over here in Brussels!

I've seen Jupiler and Maes for 25 centimes per can, quarter the price of a can of coke!

Duvel never seems to be on offer?

Am I right in thinking Duvel is best drunk 1 year after bottling? Used to have a ale mate, one that's got CAMRA membership since the year dot, who told me this. Spent many a weekend over in Belgium.

Yes but the x2 offer still only saves you a few pence.

Not as good as the offer Sainsbury had about a month ago, £2 for a large Leffe, I cleared the shelf.

Well at my local Morrisons, not only are booze and fags duty free, but you're allowed to light up and grab a pint after slogging round the aisles 🙂
