I'm in the same boat as Perchy - I've seen bits of it but it mostly passed me by at the time. I might binge on it over Christmas.

Just watched last night's show again. Just as good secund time round, especially with Mrs NBT almost crying with laughter next to me

Occasional humorous quips, some decent comedy acting from the chubby faced fella - but the whole things feels a bit 'Dr Who' in production value.
Funny that.
(or not).

I was slightly disappointed that the Ollie Plimsolls second dream sequence didn't turn out to be the school kids cruelly encouraging him so they could take the piss behind his back..

No, I didn't enjoy it as much as day 1. I found the bingo caller sketch a bit dull

Well, I've made a start. Watched the first four episodes of S1 last night.

Is the film essential viewing?

Where did you get Ep 1 and 2?

Did someone lend you a backup copy?

I think it had a slightly different feel to it, less quick jokes and more squirmy uncomfortable moments. Maybe that's not your thing or maybe you just weren't in the mood for it last night. I know a lot of people love it but the Legs Akimbo bit was a miss for me personally but then it always has been, it's just not a thing that tickles me in the same way as some of the other characters.

On the plus side:
The bingo caller was just lovely
Geoff doing his tactical space invader approach to Pauline's house.
Edward and Tubbs and the tefalone
Every moment Pops was on screen.

Any one of those would have been the highlight of most other shows so to get all 4 in one is a real treat.

I'd avoid the film, tbh
