I thought that Homeland was outstanding. Lots of plot twists but all done with clear story arcs and very little contrivance. There are a couple of slow episodes, but the acting and the tension is enough to keep you watching.
One thing though - the character Sol is awesome and very well played, but he is never the same after you realize the actor was Inigo Montoya in the Princess Bride. "Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die!"
Aye I thought they were very good. They are making a second series too!

Yep, its the first season, season 2 starts on Oct 1st in the US
I enjoyed it, think the agent is majorly screwed up and as with 24 makes me think the US agencies oughtta tighten up their recruitment board.
I hope it doesn't do a Lost and go up it's own ar5e.
