hope it doesn't 'dwell' on the accidents too much (its by the same dude that did the Grand prix Killer Years), and has plenty of NOISE!! 😀

Mental, total respect for those guys, just a massive shame how the end came about.
Its amazing that it hadn't happened sooner though

Programme was a bit of let down IMO, for the reasons you describe above. VERY little about the cars themselves and the technology involved, and too much senstationalism around the accidents. Not to detract at all, it was rallying's most dangerous period no doubt, but you get way more people die every year in Motorcycle road racing than died throughout the whole GrpB era! Fantastic machines that just needed regulating slightly, and the crowds needed regulating a lot. Shouldn't have come to an end (though it didn't take GrpA cars long to catch up speed wise in the end) as it was all about pushing the boundaries of technology rather than "who can take a production car and modify it best".

Only a nod to the RS200 and the Metro 6R4... Sure they were a bit late on the scene, but still...

Some good footage but I was expecting a LOT better than that I'm afraid! 😕
