Lilly?
is this the Waitrose own-brand version of Illy? For the kids at school who had 'Mike' trainers?
kids who's parents shop at waitrose had Nike trainers. Mike was more of a mums who go to Iceland brand
I knew it didn't sound right. ha.
how are you supposed to edit your own threads?

Isn't Waitrose a cheap and nasty one? I get mixed up sometimes between that and Somerfield.
Waitrose = Robert Dias
Iceland = Wilkinsons
easy.

and further clarification, for those of us without said stores nearby?

Use the Ledit buton.
Robert DYAS
FFS 🙄
"for those of us without said stores nearby? "
everyone lives near a waitrose and a robert dyas, don't they?
There may be some within 40 miles or so, I don't know. What on earth is a robert dyas?

We only just got a Sainsbury's
Whats all this 'Lilly' chat? FFS
Waitrose = Very posh indeed.
Everything else = not nearly as posh as Waitrose.
*shakes head* northerners, no doubt.
Robert dyas = semi posh hardware store, Wilkos = cheap hardware store.
Waitrose = semi posh supermarket, Iceland = well, you've seen the adverts.
Waitrose ain't that posh. It might like to think it is but it sells what any other supermarket does and prices don't seem too inflated.
And it was closer than Sainzberries.

thankyou.
I believe the common folk around here use 'spar'.
waitrose = for those who'd love to say they buy all their goods from local retailers, only eat seasonal veg and meat from local farms whereas in reality they still need to feed the kids fish fingers and serve scottish oak smoked salmon and snails at dinner parties so don't.
iceland = kerry katona. looks good on the packaging but peel it back and you find a wobbly un-apatising mess made of 90% lard + 10% white powder (MSG or cocaine, doesn;t really matter they are both stimulants)
Wilkos = best shop ever. Behind T-to-the-K-to-the-M-A-X-X.
"common folk around here use 'spar'"
One's butler has been known to buy his Old Holburn there, one is led to believe?
Who or what the blinking flip is Robert Dias/Dyas?
edit: just read the thread properly, ignore me.
Sainsburys exist to keep the riff raff out of Waitrose.
