This film really affected me when I first saw it and really turned me on to Mike Leighs stuff. Well worth a watch (unless you want to stay in a good mood!)
One of the few Mike Leigh films I like....it's all about the Thewlis performance.

not seen 'naked' but Secrets and Lies is in my top 10 flms list, Mike Leigh makes damned good films (not always easy watching though!)
It's pretty intense. David Thewlis is amazing!
it's similar to secrets and lies, but feels more isolated and negative. Pretty harsh film actually. Brilliant though.

Can't say that I 'enjoyed' it, but it's a damned good film. Showed a much darker side of human nature than secrets and lies'.
