Another business doomed as a results of the tram it seems...anyway, some bargains to be had, thought I'd share.
There's a field and trek in beeston?
Whats the tram got to do with Field and Trek closing down?
Yeah, on the pedestrianised High Road
@ longstuff probably nothing, but that's what I've heard at least
Are you sure they are closing down? A lot of Sports Direct shops have big signs saying closing clearance everywhere, but its actually all the stock from JJB that they are clearing not their own; as F&T is the same company, they could be doing the same.
Yes, I'm sure. Asked the Staff member why and he said that 'Hadn't been told' Nice of them eh..
As an original Beeston boy I cannot see anything but the town being decimated by this tram malarky is the Square still going ?
The best thing about the tram is that its decimating all the old shite!
Selected Field and trek shops are closing down nationally
Nothing to do with the tram
The one in Derby went about 3 months ago after a 6 month long closing down sale, whatever stock was left got punted across into the Sports Direct shop in Derby Westfield
F&T was bought by Sports Direct and they're moving all the F&T stores into their SD stores...
I remember the first Field and Trek catologes, just A4 printed paper with high spec climbing/walking kit at great prices and we used to Q outside their only shop in Brentwood on a Saturday morning to get in on the great deals, they were the days LOL 😆
I remember the Brentwood store, used to buy all my outdoor kit there.
