Another business doomed as a results of the tram it seems...anyway, some bargains to be had, thought I'd share.

Are you sure they are closing down? A lot of Sports Direct shops have big signs saying closing clearance everywhere, but its actually all the stock from JJB that they are clearing not their own; as F&T is the same company, they could be doing the same.

As an original Beeston boy I cannot see anything but the town being decimated by this tram malarky is the Square still going ?

Selected Field and trek shops are closing down nationally
Nothing to do with the tram
The one in Derby went about 3 months ago after a 6 month long closing down sale, whatever stock was left got punted across into the Sports Direct shop in Derby Westfield

F&T was bought by Sports Direct and they're moving all the F&T stores into their SD stores...

I remember the first Field and Trek catologes, just A4 printed paper with high spec climbing/walking kit at great prices and we used to Q outside their only shop in Brentwood on a Saturday morning to get in on the great deals, they were the days LOL 😆
