Sainsburys are selling 11watt a rated energy bulbs for 5 for 50p at the moment. They are 60watt eqivelent and are bayonet fitting plus madeby phillips.

couple of places seem to be doing this quite regularly (Dunelm were doing 10 for a £1), good shout or any one who's missed it before now though.
