Probably not much use to many people on here but MrsRNP Volvo needed a pair of front calipers, Eurocarparts are £130 each + surcharge for Pagid remanufactured.
Same thing at Halfords online are £49.95 with no core charge.
Same make etc? Not all calipers are equal. I prefer to rebuild OEM if at all possible. Halfords are pretty good though I do agree.

Yep Pagid at both, I read that Halfords are supplied by ECP.
They are OEM/original calipers, cleaned/repassivated/new pistons/seals etc. I've fitted them before and they've been fine.
It's a wee bit like do I buy two genuine BMW front wheel bearings for £500 with nice box or two FAG bearings for less than £100 for a 2004 90,000m car
Much the same as owning a lambo with a VAG badge on so many components and the Schaeffler folk seem to know how to make bearings. Is the London Eye a smooth ride with no constant growl?
That’s a solid find! Paying less than half the price at Halfords with no core charge is a steal compared to Eurocarparts. Pagid is a reputable brand, but if the Halfords ones are of decent quality, that’s a no-brainer.
They are stated as being Pagid on Halfords website, boxed, sealed, little Pagid tags on the bleed nipples etc and certainly original OEM calipers.

Once you know who makes stuff OEM - Corteco/Elring/Sachs/ATE/Mann etc etc then you can get 'genuine' parts at aftermarket price.
It's the reason I like Autodoc - they stock a full range of supplier's that you can't get always get from Eurocarparts/GSF etc.
