Evening all.

Attempted robbery this morning from my shed. Thankfully all bikes chained together so didn't get any of them!
North west Manchester. Worsley area to be precise.

Think it was an opportunity attempt. However not certain.

Was just before 06:00, thankfully the dog woke me up and I believe they were disturbed and did one.

Been round the neighbors and one has also had their shed opened up.
Led to believe that there have been a few in this area recently.

Keep your bikes secure all!

As per Crikeys comment - Don't leave you bikes in the shed! But it seems a tad odd that they try and nick them at six in the morning when most folk are getting out of bed?

Sorry, ignore my "most folk are getting out of bed at six" - didn't realise it was Manchester 😆

Why do people leave bikes in sheds in cities with high crime rates...

Absolute madness.

Saw two crows on my fence this morning.

A clear cut case of attempted murder.

Stay safe out there peeps. 😆

PS Glad your bikes didn't get knicked 🙂

because, statistically, you're unlikely to be burgled?

I'd be inclined to move the bikes for the time being.
They know where they are and how they are stored and secured.
Had similar at my old house. Neighbors disturbed two scumbags checking out the garage, about a week later it was broken into. Bikes were chained to floor with ground anchors so they just stripped them of parts.
