I'm stuck with a brand new unopened PS4 to sell or keep?
To help a local (raffle) charity I bought a PS4 as the top prize and there was lots interest.
I was supposed to get at least £300 back, before handing over the PS4 (the remaining £50 would be my donation).
They didn't raise the £500 goal, Only just £100.
We agreed they would buy a cheaper prize for £50 and the remaining £50 goes to their charity.
So do I sell or keep? I love games but don't have much time these days but could be fun?
Or where do I sell it to get my £350 back? If I can?
What would you do?
Depending on when/where you bought it, you might be able to take it back. I know Argos/Amazon have 28 day return policies...or thereabouts.
If you sell second via eBay etc you will lose money due to:
1) eBay fees if you go that route.
2) The PS4 is starting to price drop. Can already be had for [url= http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/ps4-killzone-bundle-335-74-plus-a-selected-pre-order-game-from-360-38-zavvi-killzone-1827049 ]£335 from Zavvi with Killzone[/url], so you will struggle to sell it for more than £300 privately.
...as such, you might as well pop it open and use it.
You're right, I'm tempted to give myself an early birthday present!

To be honest, the only reason I don't have a PS4 is the lack of any games I would want to play. So can't really recommend any of the current crop. This outlook may change over the next few months when inFAMOUS Second Son, and Thief, are released.
Had fun with NFS and FIFA so far!
