Any good, assume it's unsuitable for an 8 year old?

Videogames that show violence of a slightly more graphic nature towards fantasy character and/or non graphic violence towards human-looking characters or recognisable animals, as well as videogames that show nudity of a slightly more graphic nature would fall in this age category. Any bad language in this category must be mild and fall short of sexual expletives.

I have it for PC, but will not have chance to play this weekend, looks a good laugh though.

Thanks Jamie, I heard it had references to drugs too. I'm loving the 70's Muscles Cars.

Have it on xbox. It's okayyyy. But not as good as the reviews suggested. Good enough fun.

I am assuming all the good games are not coming out till near Xmas. Personally, I like a good FPS, and since Crysis 2 and Bulletstorm, I have not played anything that piqued my interest. I tired Deus Ex, but a bit too talking and not enough shooty for my shallow tastes.

Last Call of Duty was shite as well.

I wonder if BF3 will be worth a go? I haven't played any other BFs though so no idea what to expect.

I didn't like the new Driver, the storyline is awful and full of cliches. The gameplay is good at times, however the small parts of realism, gritty drug references and well designed routes are soon forgotten when you 'fly' your character between cars reminding you it's actually pretty crap. The missions seem like the rubbish ones from GTA, drive here, pick this up, drive here, get this car, chase someone, get chased, mission over. If you played 'Midtown Madness' on xbox the game feels very similar, but worse. The best thing about it is the music, some very cool and funky tunes to crash cars too.

I wouldn't let your 8 year old play it, if your after a driving game there's lots that are better out there.
