MegaSack DRAW - This year's winner is user - rgwb
We will be in touch
Hi,
I'm doing a talk with a PP presentation next week ( I have NEVER used Power point before....) and it's being projected so 60 kids can see. What the min dpi my photos should be to make sure they don't look rubbish?
Cheers All
I do all of mine at 300dpi, but that's probably overkill.
i got a bunch at 72 and 90- will they hack it?
72 is standard for a monitor, and as long as they are viewed from a suitable distance, that will be fine. 300dpi is for printed images where people tend to get up close...
considering an HDTV is about a 2 megapixel image, this might put it in perspective, 1920 pixels on the long edge divided by say 36" or so for a 42" telly gives around 53 dpi for a hi def picture. 72 dpi is plenty for a projector.
Cheers guys, that puts my mind at rest
🙂
you'll be fine, projectors tend to be 1024x768 at best. Many are only 800x600
